Counseling for Anxiety
Anxiety is both a mental and physical state of negative expectation. When it comes to mental health, anxiety finds a way to weave itself into many other mental disorders. Sometimes it’s the loudest voice (in our head or in our body), sometimes it’s running things behind the scenes, but it always wants a piece of the action. So our approach is to root out the anxiety and all the other mental and physical health disorders it has attached itself to. We want to help you see that there is an option of not letting the thoughts or the physical symptoms of anxiety dictate your actions anymore.
We will start with an initial phone consultation to answer any questions you may have about our services. Then we will gather a history during the first session to begin to set the goals of your therapy.
There are many forms of anxiety and each person may have different responses or ways that it affects them. We will help you find the right path for you that leads through it.
